Relieving Chronic and Acute Pain in New York City, since 1997
Welcome to Manhattan Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, located in Midtown East, a block from transportation. Here, our professionals know that your sense of wellness is not just about treating physical symptoms: it’s about discovering the root causes, and the behaviors that keep you from living pain-free. Our mission is to help you accomplish these goals in a painless, compassionate, respectful way.
We aim to diagnose and educate our patients with empathy while offering them comprehensive care. We understand that some people have anxiety about medical treatment, so we created a soothing environment and an efficient scheduling system that eliminates long waits.. By combining the latest technology – including classical and functional EMG and EPs, state-of-the-art PRP, exosome, amniotic fluid and stem cell treatments --with traditional techniques such as yoga and medical massage, we provide patients the holistic care they seek.
Manhattan Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation is under the direction of Dr. Loren Fishman, M.D.

Erika Pons
Medical Assistant
Erika Pons, Medical Assistant and Captain of the Front Desk, is honored to be the first one to talk with patients as they begin the process of healing, and helping them get better. Outside the office, Erika is family oriented, enjoying going to the Botanical Gardens or the Bronx Zoo with her husband and kids. She also likes visiting relatives in the Dominican Republic, where her parents are from. Making her apartment spic and span “clears her mind” so she can deliver that top-notch welcome and professionalism to patients.
Katie Cameron
Office Manager
Crackerjack office manager Katie, who is a long-standing insurance expert, came to work for MPM&R in 2015. When she’s not keeping everything running smoothly in the office, Katie dotes on her dog, golden retriever Riley. She and her husband love seeing Broadway shows, and get particularly excited about musicals. But on Sunday nights, she’s glued to the TV set, cheering on the New England Patriots, a tradition in her big Irish-American family.
Katie always available as a resource for anyone who has questions about insurance coverage.
